$20 Off $200 From Discover Card Mall Promotion

Discover Card is once again offering their Holiday Mall Promotion where you can get a $20 Discover Gift Card for every $200 you spend using your Discover Card at shopping malls participating in the promotion.

You can earn up to $100 (5 $20 Gift Cards) for spending $1000 at participating malls per card account, meaning if you have more than one Discover Card you can keep earning! See the Promotion Page to see what malls are participating in this promotion.

You have between 11/01/08–01/04/09 to make your purchases and any gift cards received will be valid until July 31, 2009. According to the site there is no need to sign up.

Don’t Have A Discover Card? – Then take a look at the Discover More card. The More card offers 5% back on purchases in categories that change monthly while offering 1% cash back on everything else. Even better, the Discover More card is offering $50 cash back when you make $500 in purchases.

So if you spend that $500 at a participating mall, you will qualify for 2 $20 gift cards and the $50 cash back bonus totaling $90 for spending $500. Not a bad way to make 18%!!!

Discover Bank Account Bonuses

Discover Bank has some account opening bonuses if you open a CD or a Money Market Account. The bonus depends on the amount of your initial deposit. Here is the breakdown:

• Deposit $2500 and receive a $20 bonus
• Deposit $50,000 and receive a $50 bonus
• Deposit $100,000 and receive a $100 bonus

Their CD’s range from 3.09% to 3.99% APY and their Money Market is currently at 3.56% APY. Both require a minimum of $2500 to open so you are at lease guaranteed the $20 bonus. (See hyperlinks for other account features!)

I do not have any accounts with Discover Bank so I cannont comment on service, however I do have a Discover Credit Card and have never had any issues with service.

Discover Card $100 Promo

Discover is offering a $100 bonus when signing up for their Discover More Card. This offer isn’t entirely free since you receive the bonus after you make $500 in purchases within 3 months of being approved. Just charge your everyday purchases to this card and you should hit that $500 in no time.

The Discover More card is a cash back credit card which gives you 5% back on certain categories over certain periods of the year.  There is no annual fee for this card so don’t worry about signing up getting your bonus and then never using the card.
