Countrywide 2% Cash Back Visa
April 2, 2008
Countrywide has made some changes to their cash back credit card. Previously you could only get 2% back and apply it to your mortgage if you had a mortgage with them.
Now they have changed the rules. The 2% cash back can be applied to not only a Countrywide Mortgage but their Money Market, or SavingsLink accounts as well. Essentially earn one point per dollar charged and you can redeem 2500 points for $50.
Here are the details on the 2 Countrywide bank accounts you could credit the points to:
- Countrywide SavingsLink – Earn 4.05% APY for $10,000 minimum balance
- Countrywide MoneyMarket – Earn 3.75% APY for $50,000 minimum balance

This is a very good deal as there is no unlimited 2% card that can be used for any purchase. I am definitely signing up for this card as well as the SavingsLink account.
Thanks to Timmy for leaving me a comment about this deal!
