$100 Brokerage Promotions

I have accounts with both and use Tradeking for stocks and OptionsXpress for options. I really haven’t had any issues with either. I have had to call OptionsXpress’ customer service a few times but everything was resolved quickly.

$50 Tradeking Refer A Friend Bonus

The Tradeking Refer-A-Friend Promotion is back and this time it is twice as nice as last time. Right now when you open a new Tradeking account from a registered Tradeking account holder you can get $50bonus. To qualify all you need open a new Tradeking account, deposit at least $1000 within 30 days and then make one trade within 80 days. That is it.

With Tradking’s commission being only $4.95 per trade, this bonus roughly equates to 10 free Tradeking trades if you choose to use it tht way. Note that the minimum funds of $1,000 must remain in the account (minus any trading losses) for a minimum of 180 days or the credit may be surrendered.

Groupon Deal $20 Barnes & Noble Credit for $10

Right now Groupon.com has a $20 Barnes & Noble Credit for only $10 when you purchase it now from the Groupon site.

This isn’t as great of a deal as the Amazon gift card from 2 weeks ago @ LivingSocial.com, but it is still a 100% bonus!  B&N has a lot of products online that this can be used for. If you have a B&N in your state, most likely you will also be charged sales tax on your purchases as well so keep that in mind when using the credit.

Note that there is a limited quantity and 23,500 have already been purchased as I am writing this. Groupon doesn’t tell you how many are left, so if you think this is a good deal, you should get in now. Check out more info at Groupon.com

$20 Amazon.com Gift Card for $10

Ok, this is a simple one. Living Social, a group discount retailer similiar to Groupon, is offering a $20 Amazon gift card for $10. All you have to do is buy it with no hoops to jump through. Free money doesn’t get any more free than this, unless of course it was just given to you!!!

Another perk is that if you get 3 friends to buy, the the card then becomes free for you.

Tradeking Promo 2011 – $50 Bonus With New Account

Tradeking is rolling into the new year and giving away $50 while doing it. Yes folks, that is right, the ever popular $50 Tradeking Promotion is back, but this time with a sweetened offer. Not only will you get a $50 bonus when opening a new account, but they will also refund you up to $150 in transfer fees to your current broker if you are transferring your account in.

For those of you that are not familiar with Tradeking, they are one of the most popular discount brokers that offer a flat stock trading rate of $4.95. Envaulted.com Beta 1% Additional Cash Back on Purchases

There is a new cash back site on the scene now that adds 1% cash back to all your credit card purchases. This is in addition to your current credit card rewards program. The site is called Envaulted.com

Basically you sign up, add up to 3 credit cards and you will earn additional 1% cash back on all your credit card purchases made with those cards. They hook up to your account in a similar manner that Quicken or Mint.com does. They read your transaction data to determine the % of cash back to reward. In addition to that, like a traditional cash back site, Envaulted.com also has weekly bonus offers where you get an additional amount of cash back at certain merchants just by using that registered credit card there.

For example, the bonus offers last week were the following:
5% cash back at CVS
15% cash back at McDonalds
4% cash back and free shipping at Buy.com
4% cash back at Exxon Mobil

I just signed up on the site, so I can’t give anymore details than what I have read, but this is an interesting business model and I am curious to learn more. I already have a 2% cash back card, so if I can add an additional 1% to that, then I will take it. I will write a more detailed review once I start using it, but I wanted to get this out as currently as I am writing this, there are only 61 beta invitations left, so get in now before it closes if this kind of program sounds interesting to you!
