WAMU 5% 12 Month CD is Back!

After taking the 5% CD away, WAMU has it back on their site. It is now being offered in 12 and 13 month flavors. You can view the CD rates here. There is no add-on account requirement to qualify for the CD but there is a minimum investment of $1000 per CD required.

After speaking to the CSR she said that this CD special is only going to last a week, but if they receive their target deposit numbers, it could end sooner. My advice is to get in now before you miss it.

You can also open these CD’s in a local branch if you would rather not open it online.
