E-FILEDmy taxes with you guys anddirect deposited it but on the stimulos dated i am supposed to recieve my rebate by saturday which is today so whats the problem?

I am on ssi and I think it is unfair for me not to be able to get a rebate check from the irs.I have to live in with my sister because I can’t afford to live on my own on 637.oo a month .I have enough money to get through the month and I don’t think it is right for some to get the stimlus check that don’t file and others can’t because there on ssi or other programs that don’t get it.My sister puts my name on her tax retuirn but I haven’t got a check in the mail in my name but my sister get direct deposit and already received hers.But I don’t know if I will be geting a check in my name in the mail because I am on ssi and I was not claim as my sister depentent on her tax return.I don’t think it is fair because the ones that don’t work or can’t because of there disabilty ,they our still tax payer in other ways. This is my opionion on this subject.

i should of got my check june 13-2008
but there nothing yet where is my is rebate
i think the goverment should at least tell us a little more

To All the People:

Think of this money as a gift. You weren’t expecting it until it was mention. Yes, the government promised it, but really people. We are talking about the government.

I would start worrying about it a month after the fact and stop spending the money before you have it.

To let you all know, I didn’t receive mine yet and it has been only a few days.

I spoke to the IRS today – I mailed my taxes in on April 15th – they haven’t even processed my return (but they did cash my check) – turns out, since I PAID taxes on my return – I am last on the list, they process returns first, when people are due a refund – would have been nice to know that the schedule doesn’t count for people who owed money. – I was counting on the rebate to offset what I had to pay. – TO EVERYBODY – IF YOU PAID MONEY ON YOUR RETURN, CHANCES ARE THEY HAVEN’T EVEN PROCESSED IT YET.

As soon as I found out about the checks we were gonna get I kept checking my account. I still have not recieved it , my husband and I filed our taxes had it direct deposit back in january, according to our ss# it should of been in our account by now. I tried to call the # and of course I never got a real person on the line , so I am still waiting to see if and when our check will come.

Dan. You said you were filed as a dependent two years ago, and found out that your not getting a check this year. Where did you find this out? I was claimed as a dependent back in 06-07, but not this year. If that’s the case, and we don’t get checks because of it, I have some choice words. As Vickie noted, I’m a volunteer as well, so I guess I’m stacking the odds against getting a rebate. Insert more colorful words here.

According to my SS# my deposit date should have been the 19th. However I am still waiting. Does anyone have a # to contact for information?

I helped people file their forms and mine went in the mail april 14th and i still have not recieved anything and can only tell individuals what’s on the web site. It make you not want to do volunteer work.
