If someone had to pay the IRS for taxes after filing and paid them off, and made over $3,000 for the year, do we still get the stimulus rebate of $600?

what about all of us that are on social security? We worked. We put into our s.s. I also raised 4 girls. I worked 12 hour shifts and was working in a cotton mill. I am crippled from birth. I had to quit my job in 1990 because of my feet and then my back. I do not get much on my disability now,but I worked as long as I could. Really went to long. Now I liv0e a lone and get around $896 a month as of now. I worked for 10 years in the cotton mill, And 4 years in a hosiery mill. We don”t have enough money,after bills,to buy a new pair of panties. We did not get any kind of tax breaks. Right now,I may lose my home. My ex husband left and left me with all the bills. Most everything has been cut off. I don’t have enough money to get by own. Does any of you know,it is hard to go in a store,because you can only get what you need? You have to see what you can do without.

I am on social security disability and my 2 daughters are on my social security so I cannot file taxes because there is no taxes to be given out for ssdisblity. please let me know what to log on or is this automatic given since last year. marilyn

I made over 3000 dollars and filed my tax form. I received my refund, but I have not received my stimulus check. Where do I check on it?

This year I owrd IRS $313.00 My Retirement check was withdrawn from my retirment check. I was told that a certified leter was sent to me in January 2008.I would like to see that letter of certication. I was also told I didn’t file a 2007 Income tax but I used Turbotax and I had completed my income statement.. I received a letter from the Office of personnel management the day after my check was placed as a levy on my back account.Also my bank did not wait 21 days nor did they contact me of this trans action.

Well this whole business with the stimulus checks is a joke we have not gotten anything and no word as to why.
I payed taxes as I am still working and also on social security but still no word as to why no check. Would anyone know why ?????
